Life often brings about unexpected changes in our schedules and the benefit of weekly scheduled sessions offers us some structure. In the event that you need to cancel your session, when given more than 48 hours notice, I would be happy to try to accommodate your schedule to the best of my ability.
A missed session without notice of cancellation or cancelling with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a collection of the full amount for the appointment fee. Please note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursements for missed sessions or late cancellations. You will then be responsible for the full session fee.
Please keep in mind that a cancelled appointment hurts you, your therapist, and another client who could have potentially utilized your time slot. In the case of emergencies such as an event of serious contagious illness or extreme weather, I will work with you to find another time to reschedule the appointment.
